The Institute for Justice has a well-deserved reputation for financial responsibility and careful stewardship of the funds our donors entrust to us.
In 2014—for the 13th consecutive year—IJ earned an “exceptional” designation and the coveted 4-star rating from Charity Navigator for our financial management, accountability and transparency. Less than one percent of the charities rated have received this distinction 13 years running, indicating that IJ consistently executes its mission in a fiscally responsible way and, according to Charity Navigator, is “well-positioned to pursue and achieve long-term change.”
The Institute for Justice is a 501(c)(3) organization; donations are tax-deductible. We rely solely on individuals and charitable foundations to provide the resources we need to defend the rights of our clients and thousands of others like them.
