Graduate student applications due April 18, 2014. Click here to apply.

Select students from the nation's top law schools take part in this weekend law student conference on shaping the world through the IJ way of public interest litigation. New this year, we are also inviting select Ph.D. and master’s students interested in the intersection of law and the social sciences. IJ attorneys and featured speakers will discuss IJ cases alongside other topics rarely taught in law school or graduate programs, such as: natural rights theory, public interest litigation tactics, cutting-edge constitutional theories, media skills, and the use of social science research in public interest litigation. After attending this crash course in public interest law, the IJ Way, law student participants are able to recognize and seize public interest opportunities in the future. In breakout sessions, social science students will learn from IJ and other leading researchers about how to apply the tools of social science research to vital legal questions. Accommodations and reasonable travel expenses are provided for all accepted students.
