Born and raised in northern Minnesota, Casey graduated from Bemidji State University in 2011 with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in History and Mass Communications. Prior to joining IJ, she worked in the banking and mortgage industry for three years.
An unsatisfied interest in the practice of law, and a passion for upholding the principles that the Institute for Justice is founded on led Casey to IJ and the Evergreen State in the summer of 2014. Wearing two hats, she handles litigation responsibilities as a Paralegal, as well as the administrative responsibilities of the IJ-WA office.
