Katelynn McBride serves as an attorney with the Institute for Justice Minnesota Chapter (IJ-MN). She joined the Institute in June 2011 and litigates cutting-edge constitutional cases protecting property rights, economic liberty, and other individual rights in federal and state courts.
Before joining IJ, Katelynn served as the Koch Associate at the National Federation of Independent Business Small Business Legal Center.
Katelynn received her law degree from the University of Chicago Law School in 2010, where she was a Hinton Moot Court Semi-Finalist and a member of the Edmund Burke Society. She received her undergraduate degrees magna cum laude in Political Science and History from the University of San Diego in 2007 and graduated Phi Beta Kappa. Katelynn originally hails from Castle Rock, Colo.
