Other Litigation

As part of our mission to secure greater protection for individual liberty and restore constitutional limits on the power of government, we occassionally have filed lawsuits outside of our core mission areas of economic liberty, private property rights, free speech and school choice. Most notably, we won a landmark victory when the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit ruled that a federal ban on compensating bone marrow donors does not apply to the most common method for donating marrow. To better defend and promote a free society, we have also filed several amicus briefs in high-profile U.S. Supreme Court cases.
