Amy Hunter is the Institute for Justice’s Research Fellow in Economic Liberty. Amy joined IJ in 2018 and conducts original social science research as part of the strategic research team.

Prior to joining IJ, Amy worked in Virginia government as an economist conducting economic impact analyses of regulations, policy analyses, and forecasting of public safety populations and public safety and child welfare expenditures. She holds a Master of Economics with an emphasis on econometric analysis and a bachelor’s degree in history, both from Virginia Commonwealth University.
