Andrew Meleta is an Activism Associate at the Institute for Justice. He joined the Activism team in September 2018 and focuses on municipal regulation and policy and its effect on entrepreneurship. He also assists the team’s eminent domain and vending grassroots efforts.
Before joining IJ, Andrew worked at the Cato Institute as a research assistant in development and as a policy research intern for the Manhattan Institute and Cato. His experience in research and policy brings a unique set of skills to the Activism team at IJ.
He graduated from George Mason University in 2017 with a B.S. in economics and data analysis. He hails from New Jersey and currently resides in Arlington, VA. Andrew loves to hike, cycle, travel extensively, and ride trains in his free time.
