Andrew Meleta is the Activism Coordinator at the Institute for Justice. He joined the Activism team in September 2018 and works with the Director of Activism to support ongoing projects, cultivate new relationships and issues areas for the team, and develop activists into long-term leaders.
Before joining IJ, Andrew worked at the Cato Institute as a research assistant in development and as a policy research intern for the Manhattan Institute and for Cato during college. His experience in fundraising and policy provides a unique set of skills that he brings to the Activism team at IJ. He graduated from George Mason University in 2017 with a B.S. in economics and data analysis.
Andrew hails from the idyllic state of New Jersey (North Jersey to be precise) and now resides in Falls Church, Virginia. He considers himself a train and donut enthusiast and enjoys hiking, running long distances, extensive traveling, and photography.
