As an Institute for Justice writer, Daryl James helps the victims of government abuse tell their stories.
Prior to IJ, Daryl directed communications strategy at the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and Arizona State University’s Thunderbird School of Global Management. He also spent 10 years as a newspaper journalist and five years as a high school English teacher.
Daryl grew up in Arizona and later lived in Florida, Idaho, Utah and Maryland. He has degrees from Brigham Young University and Arizona State University.
