As Membership Manager, Janell oversees our monthly giving club, direct mail program, and digital efforts with respect to donors and prospective donors. She is committed to providing donors with updates on what their support makes possible, while also reaching new audiences and creating a path for future generations to achieve their philanthropic goals.
Since joining IJ in 2017, she has worked on ways to best provide donors with updates on what their support makes possible, while also reaching new audiences to join IJ’s fight for liberty.
Janell graduated with her B.A. in Criminal Justice and minor in Sociology from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2017. Before coming to IJ, she was a Telecommunications Deputy for the Tangipahoa Sheriff’s Office. Aside from her love of public interest law, she is passionate about the eradication of human trafficking and has previously worked closely with victims in a rehabilitation atmosphere. Janell was born and raised in a small town in Louisiana near New Orleans. She currently spends her weekends scouting out the best coffee shops in D.C. and volunteering with her church’s children’s ministry and her community’s local dog shelter.
