Michael Soyfer

Michael Soyfer is an attorney with the Institute for Justice. He is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania and Harvard Law School. Before joining the Institute for Justice in 2024, he was an associate at Quinn, Emanuel, Urquhart & Sullivan LLP in Washington, D.C. His practice there focused on complex, high-stakes commercial litigation and appeals in federal and state courts throughout the United States. From 2017 to 2018, Michael clerked in Houston, Texas for Judge Carolyn Dineen King of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.
