Cities Work partnered with the City of Shreveport, Louisiana to conduct a comprehensive city study and work alongside local leaders to advance meaningful policy reforms. During that engagement, the Shreveport Chamber of Commerce recommended our collaborative approach to the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce, who subsequently reached out to begin a conversation. Building on that connection, Cities Work refreshed and expanded its original Barriers to Business research for New Orleans, updating the data and policy recommendations to reflect current conditions in 2025.
