Short Circuit Live at the National Press Club

On April 6, 2022, Short Circuit Live returned with its first event since the pandemic began. We hosted an all-star all-D.C. Circuit panel at the National Press Club in downtown Washington, D.C. IJ attorney Anya Bidwell hosted a discussion with three Supreme Court lawyers (and former D.C. Circuit clerks), Lisa Blatt, Kelsi Brown Corkran, and Paul Clement. They reminisced about their days clerking for D.C. Circuit judges and analyzed three recent circuit opinions on liability under terrorism laws, executive privilege, and no-fly lists. Close to 100 people attended to watch the recording and connect at the reception afterward.
