IJ’s Jazzy Night

On Tuesday, October 26th, IJ donors, clients and staff gathered at D.C.’s local jazz scene, HR-57, for a night of jazz, conversation and celebration. D.C. school choice mom and Executive Director of D.C. Parents for School Choice Virginia Walden-Ford (clockwise, above left) joins IJ Senior Attorney Scott Bullock (top right), who serves on the board of directors for the nonprofit jazz center and is shown above speaking at the event, along with IJ’s first client, Taalib-Din Uqdah (lower right). Local jazz great Paul Carr (center) and his trio provided the music.
