Abby Halzel is the Director of Recruiting for the Institute for Justice. She is responsible for ensuring that IJ continues to hire the best and brightest talent in all areas. Abby joined IJ in September 2019. Prior to that, she spent twelve years in two national law firms where she handled legal recruiting and attorney professional development. She also spent one year in campus recruiting for a Big 4 accounting firm. She started her career as an IT recruiter for a recruiting agency. Abby attended Tulane University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication.
