Connie Zegarra joined the Institute for Justice as the Attorney Recruiting Coordinator in April 2026. In her role, she maintains recruiting data, sources top-tier legal talent and manages the logistics behind the attorney recruiting process. She earned her BA in International Affairs and MA in Latin American and Hemispheric Studies from the George Washington University.
Prior to joining IJ, Connie worked in admissions at GW Law as an Admissions Coordinator. She enjoyed working with prospective law school applicants during her tenure in admissions and is excited to continue working with law students and legal professionals at IJ.
In her free time, she enjoys going on long walks with her schnoodle, trying new bakeries and thrifting with friends in the city.
