As IJ’s Grant Writer, Daniel Creamer works with the Development team to develop and secure strategic institutional partnerships in our fight to restore liberty and justice. Prior to joining IJ in 2026, Daniel’s career focused on the international sphere; Daniel previously worked at the National Endowment for Democracy, where he managed a portfolio of grants to civil society organizations protecting and advancing democracy and human rights across the globe, as well as at the International Trade Administration, where he investigated unfair foreign trade practices.  

In addition to these experiences, Daniel has managed local political campaigns in New England, conducted field research with refugee communities in Kenya and Uganda, and bartended across various DC establishments. Daniel completed his undergraduate studies at The George Washington University’s Elliott School of International Affairs and earned a master’s degree in development economics and international political economy from Tufts University’s Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy.
