Gerard D. Millman is an Associate Producer at the Institute for Justice. As a verité documentary storyteller, Gerard works closely with his story partners to capture their lives on camera and create films that build empathy in the hearts of the audience.
Gerard’s catalog of award-winning human-interest stories span both social justice and extreme sport. Gerard’s documentary work on Puerto Rico’s electrical grid crisis won the gold medal at the Anthem Awards, while his NASCAR short film has been recognized by the most prestigious awards in collegiate documentary journalism. Gerard earned his BA in Journalism & Media from UNC Chapel Hill.
