Zoe Tishaev is a City Policy Assistant at the Institute for Justice, where she works alongside community activists, small business owners, and municipal leaders to advance economic justice and protect the right to earn an honest living through the Cities Work initiative.
Prior to joining IJ, Zoe worked on local campaigns across the river in Montgomery County, Maryland and, in college, wrote for North Carolina-based urbanist blog Southern Urbanism.
Zoe graduated from Duke University with a B.A. in Political Science and minors in Economics and Sociology.
