Alaska School Choice Oral Argument
On June 27, 2024, the Alaska Supreme Court heard oral arguments in a lawsuit that seeks to strike down the state’s popular correspondence school program, through which families can receive compensation for educational expenses, including sending their kids to non-public schools. IJ Attorney Kirby Thomas West argued in defense of the program on behalf of our clients whose children have benefitted from the program (see 21:03 and 1:14:45).
