Adam joined IJ in October 2018 in the role of Forfeiture Intake Coordinator. His primary responsibility is to turn the high volume of requests for assistance in civil asset forfeiture cases into an organized flow of potential clients for the litigation team to review.
Adam is also a point person for FOIA requests related to forfeiture and seizures. He is tasked with requesting and tracking FOIA requests on these topics from various agencies across the country and creating reports based on documents obtained through these FOIAs.
Prior to working at IJ Adam moved lots of money around in the operations department of a community business bank in Northern Virginia. It was there that he gained a love of spreadsheets and data visualization.
