As the Institute for Justice’s Assistant Director of Individual Giving, Jordan is responsible for overseeing IJ’s Partners Club, Guardians Circle, monthly giving, planned giving, membership, and development research programs. He works closely with the team to ensure these programs continue to innovate, expand, and provide our supporters with an unmatched experience as we raise the annual budget and support the important work IJ is doing on behalf of our clients. Jordan also takes an expanded role in personnel management, mentoring team members working outside just the programs he oversees to help the wider team achieve their professional aspirations.
Jordan started his career at IJ as an intern with the Development Team during the busy end-of-year giving season in 2016. After discovering a passion for IJ’s mission, he joined the team full-time and dedicated the next seven years to building out our development research program. During that time, the research team led efforts to identify potential new supporters and opportunities for increased support, helping to enable IJ’s continued growth. Throughout his tenure with IJ, Jordan has participated in virtually all aspects of development operations, from stuffing letters for mailings to helping plan and execute a weekend-long donor retreat on the other side of the country, and he strives to bring an equal level of attention to whatever the task at hand may be.
Jordan graduated with honors from George Mason University in 2016, earning a B.A. in English.
