As IJ’s Digital Communications and Web Editor, Lisa supports IJ’s development and communications efforts so that supporters and the public stay informed about IJ’s fight against government abuse. In this role, she oversees IJ’s email program, writes for the Beyond the Brief podcast, helps keep the website updated, and drafts donor communications.
Prior to joining IJ in 2020, she worked in the United States and Europe, first doing research for international security organizations and then email marketing for public interest campaigns. Lisa graduated from the University of Washington with a B.A. in International Studies and from Georgetown University with an M.A. in Security Studies. She was born and raised in the San Francisco Bay Area.
