As IJ’s Litigation Assistant, Margaux works with the litigation management team on day-to-day logistics, schedules, and projects to advance our 100+ cases as well as long-term goals.
Margaux graduated summa cum laude from the George Washington University with a B.A. in Political Science and International Affairs with a concentration in Security Policy. While at GW, Margaux participated in a study abroad program at Kings College in London. Her coursework has delved into critical human rights issues such as the Human Trafficking, Refugee & Migrant Crisis, Political Racial Demographics, Human Rights and Ethics, and International Business & Modern Slavery, reflecting her commitment to understanding and addressing global challenges.
Before starting at IJ, Margaux worked as communications advisor to Illinois State Representative Laura Dias’s campaign. In this role Margaux managed social media platforms, developed campaign outreach initiatives, and drafted campaign materials. Prior to that, Margaux worked as the Communication and Constituent Outreach Intern on Illinois Governor JB Pritzker’s campaign. In this role she was responsible for amplifying constituent outreach and training and recruiting campaign volunteers.
In her free time, she enjoys attending various sporting events, playing water polo, and traveling to see her family abroad.
