Kaukab Sohail has been threading for 25 years and learned the trade at a salon in Pakistan. She is married with three sons—one just graduated from Arizona State University and the other is finishing school with an eye towards medical school. Her husband is also in school, taking classes in pharmacology. Kaukab’s job helps support her family and pay for school.
