Mario Ayala is the owner of Ayala’s Mini Market, a money services business in Glendale, Arizona.
In February 2025, Ayala’s Mini Market was raided by federal agents from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) and Internal Revenue Services (IRS). The HSI and IRS agents took cash, computers, documents and personal cell phones without ever charging anyone with a crime. After waiting a year and a half to hear from the government on next steps to get his property returned, Mario teamed up with IJ and another Phoenix-area money service business to file a federal lawsuit challenging these seizures.
