Mario Rosales and his girlfriend Gracie Lasyone were pulled over by Alexandria, Louisiana police officers for failing to signal. But the police car dash cam clearly showed that Mario was signaling. Over the next 20 minutes, the two of them were subjected to an interrogation that was clearly a fishing trip looking for bigger crimes. It’s unconstitutional for the police to pull over someone just to “ask questions.”
Mario and Gracie are now suing the Alexandria Police Department for violations of the Fourth and First Amendment Rights.
