Ryan Crownholm is an Army veteran who deployed in Bosnia in the 1990s. When he returned home after his term, he became an entrepreneur, first as a contractor and now running his own business. Ryan runs MySitePlan.com, a website that provides site plan drawings to clients for a variety of uses. Ryan does not practice land surveying, but the California Board for Professional Engineers, Land Surveyors, and Geologists still cited him for practicing “unlicensed surveying.”
Ryan has teamed up with the Institute for Justice (IJ) to file a lawsuit in state court challenging California’s licensing requirements.
