Sean Young is the owner of Leavitt’s Country Bakery in Conway, New Hampshire, a local community staple.
In June 2022, a group of local high schoolers painted a beautiful mural of donut mountains on the front of Leavitt’s, as part of an art project. The community loved the mural, but the local code enforcement officer demanded it be painted over.
Instead of letting the students’ mural be destroyed, Sean teamed up with IJ to file a federal law suit challenging the town’s sign ordinance.
