Robert Fellner is a Litigation Fellow at the Institute for Justice. He returns to IJ after working as a Dave Kennedy Fellow in the summer of 2023. Robert earned his law degree in 2024, when he graduated magna cum laude from the Antonin Scalia Law School at George Mason University in Arlington, Virginia.
Prior to studying law, Robert served as the Vice President and Policy Director of the Nevada Policy Research Institute. There, Robert developed and directed the litigation strategy for three public-interest lawsuits, which led to three landmark victories before the Nevada Supreme Court. The first resulted in a decision that expanded the public’s right to access government records, the second expanded taxpayer standing for state constitutional challenges, and the third barred state government employees from simultaneously serving as state legislators.
